This page explains how Highland Tree & Garden Services ("we", "us", "our") — a sole trader operated by Andrew Donaldson from Templemill Farm Cottage, Crieff, Perthshire — handles the personal information you share with us. -   **Job details** you share so we can quote accurately — for example service type, site description, photographs you choose to send.
-   **Correspondence** — emails, text messages and call notes relating to your enquiry.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

## How we use it

-   To respond to your enquiry and arrange a free site visit.
-   To prepare and send you a written quote.
-   To carry out and invoice for work you instruct.
-   To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations (for example HMRC records).

Our lawful bases are contract (to quote and deliver work you request), legitimate interests (to reply to enquiries and keep basic customer records) and legal obligation (tax and accounting).

## Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

-   Our accountant and HMRC, where required for tax and record-keeping.
-   Email, telephone and messaging providers we use to communicate with you.
-   Payment providers, if you pay us electronically.
-   Law enforcement or regulators where we are legally required to do so.

## How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for up to 24 months after last contact. Customer records related to work carried out are kept for at least 6 years to meet UK accounting requirements, after which they are securely deleted.

This website uses only essential cookies required for the site to function and to load embedded Google Maps content. We do not run advertising cookies. If we add analytics in future, this page will be updated first.
